Tyler and I have watched every episode of American Idol and are loving it. It's sort of relaxing (commercial free w/Tyler's home theatre PC that he built). It's entertaining and it brings me back to my auditioning and casting days. I know how they feel, to a certain extent.
There are 36 finalists now. I am going to try to narrow it down to MY top 12 not necessarily what the nation will vote for.
My top 3:
1. Danny Gokey (best so far)
2. Lil Rounds (top girl so far)
3. Anoop Desai
this is hard...my other top choices:
1. Alexis Grace
2. Jackie Tohn
3. Jorge Nunez-Mendez
4. Matt Giraud
5. Stevie Wright
6. Scott Macintyre --blind guy
That leaves 3 variable others....
The Young ones (under 18), all very good!

Honarable mentions.....they are sweet but probably won't make it to the top 12, or they really have to prove themselves in the next few weeks.

So you pretty much mentioned all of them. How do you even know them all already? I really like Gokey and Anoop too. And the drama king and queen have got to go, I was so mad when they made it over Jamar- Gokey's friend.

We are collecting clothing donations, selling them at a huge sale event on Feb. 27th and donating all of the money to the Mothers Without Borders organization to help build a school for over 600 AIDS orphans. It should be really fun. That's okay if you can't hold on to donations, I still need to get a donation volunteer for your area, but as soon as I do, you can just drop donations off to them and be done with it!
