What's in a name?

I hope to be opening a shop of my very own on Etsy by this Spring. And I'd like your opinions. I hope to sell things related to children such as celebration banner, fishing vest, rocking chair caddy and birthday party kits. So from the following names what do you see? What catches your attention? What best describes what I would be selling? What is easiest to remember? What describes me and my personality? But mainly, in about two words, I want a name that will sell. I appreciate your comments and any other new suggested names are wonderful too!

Name:

1. Hannah's Buggy
2. Hannah the Hostess
3. Hannah's kids

4. Holy Hannah's
5. Hannah Banana's

6. All things kids
7. Sugar Coated Parties (or pretties)
8. Drama Fish

9. Hannah's Boutique
10. Hannah's Favorite Things
11. Hannah's Creations
12. Bit o' Hannah
13. Hannah Fish

14. Fishing for Fun

I can't really think of anymore and I don't particularly like any of these or think they will sell. What do you think? I numbered them to make it easier for you. But I would appreciate any feedback or new suggestions! Thanks!

  2. I like Rosie's idea for Hannah's Hoopla...you could also do Hannah's Hangout.

Don't limit your name according to what you'll sell in case you want to change what you offer at some point. Make it catchy & memorable but also compatible. Good luck!

  4. I like Bit o'Hannah the best, but Rose's suggestion for Hannah's Hullabaloo is kinda cute. Matthew says Hannah's Hangover, but I don't think that's sending quite the right message.

  5. #1 choice: Bit o' Hannah

    #2 hannah banana

    those 2 are my fav's

Bit o'hannah sounds kinda Shakespearean and when i think of you i think of theater-the real dramatic kind ;) like when u were in that one satire-Shakespearean-like play ay BYU that i saw, and i saw you in Homer's Odyssey? Wow I can't remember all of the details, but you majored in theater so maybe something that ties into that?
Plus it sounds like the candy: "bit-o-honey"

maybe u could play off of that?

and the banana one is just such a classic :) good branding opportunities there.

I love the idea of making kid party kits! Maybe play into that a bit with like party kits?

    love you!

    good luck!

  7. I liked All Things Kids best until Emily said to be careful in case you start selling other things. Which I think is a good point. Now I don't know what I like. :)

  9. My fav is Holy Hannah's because it is funny, but after trying the etsy thing with my sister, you need a name that will come up in a search. Good luck with that, since I never make up names for anything. Your stuff with be awesome though!

  12. Hannah Fish is definitely the best on the list--catchy and kinda Etsy.

    How about:

Hannah and Her Sister (w/out the "s" to avoid a lawsuit from what's his name)
    HannahBoo*
    Hannahbles*
    Hannah Bliss**
    Hometown Hannah
    Me & Hannah
    Billy & Hannah
    Tyler's Hannah
    Boo and Hannah
    Hannah and Boo*
    Totally Hannah
I like the ones with an asterist the best

  13. I like using your name. And how about Hostess Hannah or Rosemary's idea of Hannah's Hoopla is brilliant. That is probably what I would pick.
